Ever since I was little, I used to go to my parents office and was fascinated by array of threads, and fabrics and wondered where the “waste went”. I would bring home the thread and with my little needles weave them into doileys and covers. The joy of creating something out of nothing was immense and for my grandmother’s 75th birthday – I made earrings and bracelets from her old dupattas for my entire family as return favors. The appreciation prompted me to start my own stylish, sustainable  and affordable jewelry brand. , I started my own production line with those leftovers. After months of practice, I decided to put all my practice and hard work into setting up Re #Ash. A sustainable, handmade, jewelry company. A little something to give back to the creative community from where it all started. My next aim is to train girls with NGO –“Shakti” and make them self reliant.
